At Elks Lodge 417, the handshake you get at the door is the same one you get on your hundredth visit. Rated 4.7 stars by members and guests alike, this lodge on NW 72nd Street has earned that score the old-fashioned way: people actually show up, stay longer than they planned, and come back the following Saturday.

The backyard alone tells the story. A sprawling green space with tetherball and horseshoes gives kids and adults equal reason to stick around, while inside the grill fires up and the bingo cards hit the tables. Saturday morning bingo is open to the public, no membership required, and more than one first-timer has walked out with a little extra cash and a lot of new faces to remember.

The Does and Elks chapters here run charity events year-round, putting real dollars back into the Oklahoma City community. This is the kind of place where all ages find something to do, whether that means competing at horseshoes out back or volunteering at the next fundraiser. Come once and you will understand why the members call it their second living room.

What We Offer

Saturday morning bingo is the lodge's signature public event, drawing regulars and newcomers every week to an open grill, friendly competition, and the genuine chance to win. No membership card needed, just show up and grab a card.

Beyond bingo, Lodge 417 hosts charity fundraisers, social mixers, and community gatherings organized by both the Elks and the Does chapters. The outdoor yard provides space for horseshoes tournaments and tetherball, making it one of the few fraternal halls in the metro where a family can spend a full afternoon.

Membership opens the door to even more: lodge dinners, civic programs, discounted events, and a brotherhood built on genuine mutual support. With dues that represent real value and a calendar that stays busy, joining Elks Lodge 417 means trading a quiet weekend for one worth talking about.

"This is an amazing community spot. The does and elks do many charity events and it is a fun place to spend time at, at any age. There is a huge yard in the back with tetherball and horse shoes. You can bring any ball youd like to play with back there as well. Also in the back there is a lovely patio with a mosquito light and shades to block the sun. There is a smoking room that also has pool tables in it. The lodge has karaoke nights and a small wood dancing area with nice speakers, microphones, and TV. There is plenty of seating and an bar here with drinks starting at 4:30pm. Bingo is played here every Saturday and you can buy drinks, lunch, and dinner here. This is the perfect place for the kids to play, grandma to play bingo, Mom to dance drink and meet new people, and Dad to drink and socialize. You can also bring your pet as long as they stay in the back and dony disturb others. This place is also an amazing way for teens to get community service hours in by volunteering. It's just all around amazing."

"I used to believe in the Elks cause, but this lodge has turned into a place where you’re only welcome if you do as told by a select few. I miss the democratic community of different personalities that got along and did what’s best for the organization with the common goal of giving back to the community."
